La petite maison de campagne
The balconies of progress
Renovating this country house was a major challenge, particularly given its location in an agricultural zone. Close collaboration with the canton's land department was therefore necessary to comply with the very restrictive building regulations.
The small surface area of the house also posed a number of challenges - very detailed coordination was essential between the various parties involved, all under the supervision of the construction manager. A mission skillfully accomplished by our teams.

The balconies of progress
This project for three new semi-detached villas in the commune of Vernier is very interesting from a reflective point of view - An existing house will be preserved and the construction project for its three new semi-detached villas will then be adapted around it.
A density derogation was requested from the department - a very productive collaboration took place with the communal authorities in order to find a common agreement with a view to obtaining this derogation.
The project also adapts to the existing topography of the land and allows the conservation of a large area of land.
The project includes an energy upgrade with the abandonment of oil-fired heating, the installation of heat pumps and the installation of photovoltaic panels. The roofs are planted with vegetation, allowing water to be retained.
The mixed character (new & existing) of the buildings is harmonious, thanks to the space composed in part of wood, which allows for a light and appropriate combination with the surrounding landscape.
