La petite maison de campagne
Single-family house - Extension
Renovating this country house was a major challenge, particularly given its location in an agricultural zone. Close collaboration with the canton's land department was therefore necessary to comply with the very restrictive building regulations.
The small surface area of the house also posed a number of challenges - very detailed coordination was essential between the various parties involved, all under the supervision of the construction manager. A mission skillfully accomplished by our teams.

Single-family house - Extension
Creating a veranda on an existing building - The complexity of this project lies in the fact that the thermal envelope of the building must not be altered, but also in the fact that the house is still inhabited.
Our design office also took charge of applying for planning permission with the local authority, and of putting out a call for tenders to help the client choose the right company.
We then coordinated the work according to the owners' schedules & worked with the company in charge of the work to find solutions that would comply with the laws in force for this type of extension.
The project includes an energy upgrade with the abandonment of oil-fired heating, the installation of heat pumps and the installation of photovoltaic panels. The roofs are planted with vegetation, allowing water to be retained.
The mixed character (new & existing) of the buildings is harmonious, thanks to the space composed in part of wood, which allows for a light and appropriate combination with the surrounding landscape.
